My work is gathering up, building, illustrating, conjuring and refuting. I will go with romantic and explorer with the release of color and the process of painting as drive. Though I have a passion for rocks, sea and sky, I also employ trunks, branches and weeds: the subject is agile and developing. Spaces and spaces between exhilarate me, these may exceed the overt subject. Light falls on and through everything, the paintings are a story of that journey in color.
